CFI advised Claret Marketing on its sale to Samlerhuset
Cardiff –Â Â CFI United Kingdom acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Claret Marketing on its sale to Samlerhuset.
Established in 2004 by directors Greg Prosser and Dafydd Jenkins and based in South Wales, Claret is a specialist client services marketing agency that uses techniques pioneered in the USA that have been proven to develop long term relationships with key customers and maximise sales potential. It markets collectors’ items and rare coins to established clients within the UK and Internationally.
Samlerhuset Group, based in the Netherlands and with an active presence in 14 European markets, is one of Europe’s largest coin companies.  Its primary activity is the direct marketing of coins and commemorative medals, and other collectables to international markets.  It works with national mints, central banks and major global event organizers.  It is an owner of the World Money Fair in Berlin and also owns the Mint of Norway, the former government mint belonging to the central bank. The Mint of Norway is Norway’s second oldest company, established in 1686.  It strikes the legal tender coins of Norway as well as coins for other nations. The mint has also been entrusted by the Norwegian Nobel Committee to strike the Nobel Peace Prize Medal each year.
