Puissance 5 has acquired Novasol

Paris – CFI is pleased to announce that it served as the exclusive investment banker to shareholders of Puissance 5 in connection with the acquisition of Novasol.

The Puissance 5 Group, established in 1997 by its founders P. Ramnout and A. Delhomme, is a group of around twenty companies specializing in cleaning and related services for professional spaces such as offices, businesses, and common areas of buildings.

Completely independent, Puissance 5 has a turnover of €70 million and focuses its operations in the Paris region through three main locations. At the forefront of QSSE (Quality, Safety, Security, and Environment) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) issues, the group has implemented a unique occupational health and safety service for its employees in France.

Furthermore, to ensure the Group’s sustainability, in recent years Patrice Ramnout has focused removing non-operational shareholders and increasing the capital of its general directors. This has resulted in the recent appointment of Elodie du Besset as the new President of the group.

The Novasol Group, founded in 1976, is also a family-owned group, recognized for its social policy.

Novasol is well-established in the tertiary, municipal, and residential sectors in the Paris region and has focused its development on the healthcare sector, which now represents most of its €25 million turnover, making it a key player in this sector in the region.

Facing a succession issue, its leader Jean-François Feral decided to put his group up for sale.

The clear synergies in common sectors and geographies and the potential to develop a new competency area in healthcare convinced Puissance 5 to complete this acquisition, allowing Novasol to benefit from the same succession. This makes the combined entity one of the largest players in the industry with nearly €100 million in turnover.

Puissance 5 benefited from the 30 years of experience of Jean-Claude Saltiel in cleaning and related services (T.E.P, Samsic, Atalian) and the sector expertise of Business Services team from CFI France to complete this transaction.

This transaction closed on 9 July 2024.
